What is the Yoman Pixel?

What is a Pixel?

A pixel is a small chunk of code, meant to be embedded into your website. In today’s world, nearly any onlineadvertising tool has it’s pixel, including the Google Ads Pixel, Facebook Pixel, and many more. A pixel is needed for the tool to track your visitors behavior, and use its advanced algorithms to crunch the numbers and understand visitor behavior. For ad tools, this allows you to better target ads. For analytics tools, this allows you to better understand your website visitors.

How does the Yoman pixel work?

The Yoman pixel needs to be embedded into any page in your website (contact us as team@yoman.io if you have any questions about this).

The pixel will track your visitor behavior and use our adavanced machine learning algorithms to crunch the numbers, and understand things like –

– Which sections of your site are most engaging.

– Which sections are not engaging

– Which CTAs (call-to-action buttons) work – and which don’t

– Where you could improve your website by doing things like, changing order of sections, adding action buttons, or remove non-engaging content.

How do I add the Yoman Pixel?

To allow us to start recording your website activity and provide you insights and tips (through e-mail), please add the following code into the footer of your website:

<script src="https://service.yoman.io/api/static/yoman-embed.js?email=your@email.com"></script>

Be sure to replace your@email.com with your own email address to which you’d like to get the insights.

How will it work?

All of our other free services (popups, insights, website sequence diagram) will be provided through emails we will send you once in a while.

So what do I do?

Please add the code as soon as possible (just ask your programmer, it’s easy) and in about 2 weeks our algorithm will start crunching your data and provide insights through your email.

If you are unsure about how to continue, you can copy the website address of this page and send it to your website manager, asking him to add the snippet code above, and he/she will certainly know what to do next.
